Mixed use scheme in London intiating the wider redevelopment of the Battersea Power Station site. The building contains 753 new homes, offices, shops and residents amenities. This project was designed by Simpsonhaugh whilst Prospetti director Silvia Filucchi was employed at the studio. Silvia was a key part of the team leading the interior design and coordination of the apartments.
Whilst at 5 Plus Architects, then JMA Prospetti director Silvia Filucchi led the detailed design and delivery of this development with a hands on approach throughout the two years construction phase. A mix of facade materials and a close eye on detail was implemented to create a new community of 360 homes and 8,000 sqft commercial space.
Whilst at 5 Plus Architects, then JMA Prospetti director Silvia Filucchi led the architectural team delivering the Crescent, a residential development comprising of 22 and 16 storey towers, providing 399 homes.
Interior design of the reception areas and luxury residential amenity spaces for the 360 apartment development by 5 Plus Architects, then JMA Prospetti director Silvia Filucchi led the design from concept to construction which included bespoke furniture and wall linings.
The laundrette was a key space within the Local Blackfriars development. The concept combines the function of the laundry facility with a living room feel, becoming a resident's lounge. Residents use the laundrette as a coworking space and a place to socialise. The lowered timber raft with concealed acoustic materials and lighting empashises the stone table as the focal point of the lounge, encouraging people to gather.
The extensive refurbishment of the Grade II listed Blackfriar Pub was part of the Local Blackfriars regeneration project. The pub originates from 1186 and was gutted by a fire in 2006. Whilst at 5 Plus Architects, then JMA Prospetti director Silvia Filucchi led the extension and refurbishment of the pub which focused on restoring the original timber stair case and room dividers.
